Whether you are an avid bushwalker with a camera or a family capturing weekend moments on a smartphone, this photographic competition is calling on local residents to share their unique perspectives of NSW’s natural spaces.

Organised by Northside Creative Photography, the Wild Ku-ring-gai & Beyond Competition invites people of all ages to celebrate and capture local flora, fauna and park life.

The competition features three broad categories: Wild Places (landscapes), Wild Things (plants and wildlife), and People in Nature (recreation and family activities). There are dedicated categories for adults and youth under 16.

A curated selection of the top images will be printed and displayed at the Kalkari Discovery Centre in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park for a special five-month public exhibition opening in Nov 2026.

Kalkari Discovery Centre, 402 Ku-ring-gai Chase Road, Mount Colah, located within Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, open daily 9.30am to 4.30pm daily except Christmas Day, will be hosting the Exhibition and will display a range of selected images.
