SAVE GREATER SYDNEY COALITION E-NEWS: APRIL 2025

SGSC connects with community groups across Greater Sydney, including FOKE, who face planning decisions that negatively impact on their neighbourhood character, environment, heritage and amenity, particularly from as a result of NSW Department of Planning, Infrastructure and Planning (DPIH) planning policies.

SGSC represents community groups, heritage advocates, environmentalists, urban planners, economists, and concerned citizens who are committed to thoughtful ecological sustainable development, that respects heritage, whilst meeting our housing needs.

SGSC was formed in 2024 in response to the NSW Government’s undemocratic, ‘one size fails all’ Transport Oriented Development (TOD) State Environment Planning Policy (SEPP), Low to Mid-Rise Housing and Dual Occupancy SEPP.

SGSC invites representatives from community/ environmental groups who may be concerned about these issues to join its regular zoom meetings and give a report on what is happening in your local area.
