Now 65 years old, the NCC is the State’s peak environment organisation and provides a
single voice for 180 environment groups including FOKE and other community organisations across NSW. The NCC is NSW’s leading environmental advocacy organisation.

Apart from the campaigns the NCC mobilises communities, and advocates passionately for the protection of NSW unique wildlife and bushland and has notched up countless wins for wildlife, bushland, marine life, and local communities over the decades of work on behalf of its members.

NCC environmental policies outline a positive vision for a sustainable future for New South Wales. Through the annual conference, the NCC formulates policy positions on a diverse range of environmental issues including:
