FOKE has been informed that Ku-ring-gai Council will NOT consider revisiting the community preferred Scenario 3b exhibited in December 2024. The amended option currently on exhibition is the result of input from an independent consultant and the Department of Planning.  After considering submissions, Council may ‘tweak’ the option on public exhibition HERE

We urge you to look closely at Council’s preferred housing scenario affecting areas within 800m walking distance from Roseville, Lindfield, Killara and Gordon Railway Stations.  Raise any issues or make suggestions or comments in your submission  HERE

FOKE’s submission highlights concerns that the final rezoning decision is being made in the absence of critical supporting studies such as environmental,  traffic, parking, infrastructure (eg water, sewerage, utilities) assessments.

FOKE also believes that planning by the State Government is being executed in a way that will destroy the integrity of heritage items and heritage conservation areas.
