ERYLDENE UNDER THREAT

HISTORIC ERYLDENE UNDER THREAT

This is what we were all dreading would happen to Sydney’s historic homes.

Under the Minns Government supposedly “affordable” infill housing scheme, four houses are up for demolition with massive apartment blocks proposed just one door from historic Eryldene in Gordon.

Sydney’s world renowned architect, William Hardy Wilson designed the house for Professor E G Waterhouse who created its internationally acclaimed camellia garden.

All of this will be overshadowed by these apartment blocks, with particularly devestating impacts on the garden. 3 buildings, 8 storeys, 162 apartment and 191 car spaces.

HERITAGE LOVERS UNITE – let’s see off this woefully inappropriate development that will significantly impact upon Eryldene.
