Congratulations to  Nicole Chen for her award in recognition of her commitment to caring for Lindfield East Public School’s Eco Garden.


Nicole diligently weeds, waters, and harvests the garden’s produce.  She also cares for the chickens, collects the playground compost buckets, assists with recycling and mentors  younger students.

The award is in recognition of much loved FOKE Committee member, Jan Langley, who was a former Lindfield East Public School parent and a passionate advocate for sustainability.

Congratulations to Annabel Reid  from Lindfield Public School who was the 2025 recipient of Jean Posen Environment Award. This award  goes to a student who exhibits passion, enthusiasm and a general commitment to improving sustainable practices and caring for the school environment.


The Award remembers Jean Posen, long standing FOKE Committee member & passionate advocate for protecting Ku-ring-gai’s environment.
