MASSIVE NSW GOVERNMENT HOUSING POLICY CHANGES!

FOKE is waiting for any changes into the planned introduction of the Transport Oriented Development Program, affecting Roseville, Lindfield, Killara and Gordon, which had an original commencement date of this April.

The Government Inquiry into the Transport Oriented Development Program is expected to deliver their report in September 2024.

To find out more about the  NSW Government’s Proposed Housing Policies and their impact on Ku-ring-gai click HERE.

This policy will increase housing density on the railway corridor and urban centres. It does not protect Heritage areas, increases building heights, allows  apartments in R2 single dwelling zones while ignoring biodiversity, support services and amenity issues. Importantly, it severely limits the  rights for resident’s concerns and complaints.
